Aloys Fleischmann
1910 - 1992
Aloys Fleischmann was an outstanding figure in the Cork music scene. A Professor of Music, composer and conductor, he cultivated music education and was instrumental in the development of orchestral performance in Cork, among many of his other achievements. We, the Cork Fleischmann Symphony Orchestra, are honoured and proud to be associated with this great man.
